During our license issue the best way to continue to use Office products is to use the online Office Suite found at office.com. There are two primary ways to do so.
OneDrive
Sync
Most users have OneDrive Sync setup on their PCs. This is automatically synchronizing the user’s Desktop and Documents to OneDrive. So these files have a live copy already online.
Synchronized files should so a ‘Status’ on or beside the file letting you know they have a good sync with the cloud.
Synchronized files can be right-clicked, and the user will have a “View Online” option. Windows 11 users may need to look under the “OneDrive” sub-menu or select “View More Options”. Doing this will open the file you selected directly in your browser using the online version of the appropriate app.
Users can also directly access their entire online storage by clicking the OneDrive icon in their system tray (area by the clock) and selecting “View Online”.
Direct
Online Access
If you do not have OneDrive Sync setup or you are not using your regular PC, you can still access all of these files and features by going directly to office.com in your preferred web-browser. Or if you access your email from our website (nashvillesd.com->forFaculty->District Resources->Email) you can click the waffle at the top and see all the other online apps.
